Yoga At Van Buren Library

Growing up, the local library was always my home away from home. I would go to the library with my mom and younger sisters nearly every day. I'd check out as many books as I could and participate in Summer Reading Challenges, art contests, writing contests, etc. When I got older, I shared my passion for reading with my godchildren and other children in the community.


I am very excited to be able to share another one of my passions with the Ironbound Community. On September 1, 2021, I will be teaching a free yoga class at Van Buren Library. This class is for all ages and abilities. It is a great activity for families to do together.


Class Level: Introduction


Description: Participants will be introduced to basic poses such as Child's Pose, Cat/Cow Pose, and Downward-facing Dog (Modifications will be provided. )


Things you need for class: Yoga mat or blanket, water (You are more than welcome to bring props such as a yoga strap, yoga blocks, or a pillow.)


No experience necessary! Come ready to have fun!!!
